Some key examples include a Jack Sprout Peanut Butter Pail, a Wak-Em-Up Coffee Can with an image of an Indian, and a Taxi Pocket Tobacco in. The Tobacco tin section has over 100 select tins from two different collections which is sure to please collectors.
The toy section begins with character and 1950’s packaged toys. Within this section is a collection of over 20 Dick Tracy lots. After a mix of over 20 doll lots, the sale moves into a small grouping of cast iron toys. The iron includes about 20 banks. A few of the key examples would be an original Darktown Battery and Bad Accident mechanical bank, both in original working condition.
Following the toys is a fantastic grouping of figural cast iron. Be sure not to miss the Clown doorstop, the Koala doorstop, the Oversized Fox Terrier doorstop, the Popeye doorstop, the Pup with Duck doorstop and a Dapple Grey Horse doorstop with original hat.
The sale concludes with a variety of decorative arts including about 20 pieces of fresh to the market pieces of artwork. Check out the online catalog for more details.
