November 12, 2013 Toy & Advertising Auction

The November 12^th Toy & Advertising Auction begins with over 60 lots of tobacco tins and tobacco related items followed by a nice assortment of paper items including 100’s of Advertising calendars in large lots of 30 plus.

Next to cross the block are advertising signs including two wall clocks, ice cream scoops, soda advertising signs and 100s of Coca-Cola pieces including: signs, trays, cards, bottle openers, 100s of cans and soda bottles, 100s of serving trays and tip trays, and lastly over 25 lots of Coca-Cola toy trucks, carriers and coolers.

Following the advertising are some cast iron toys including trucks, cars, planes, motorcycles and banks (a few mechanical banks). A small assortment of comics, matchbox cars and more toys will be after the cast iron. Our train collectors will also get a selection in this sale with both cast iron and Lionel train groupings.

This auction boasts a nice array of tin toys and a large assortment of Fisher-Price followed by sports cards, postcards and punch books. Decorative collectors will also get a taste of over 90 lots of Ned Foltz Redware pottery pieces, many of which are very unusual. General antiques are represented in this sale with Native American Indian pottery, wall clocks, lux clocks and children’s items and sewing machines.
